TONY O'REILLY

In modern times, he is best known as a businessman. But in 1954, an 18-year-old Tony O'Reilly was chosen to play for Ireland after just three senior club games. After four games for Ireland, he was chosen for the 1955 Lions tour of South Africa. He played all four tests and scored 16 tries in 15 games on tour. In 1959, he toured Australia and NZ with the Lions, scoring 21 times in 21 appearances.
