COLIN MEADS

Irish referee Kevin Kelleher, who was responsible for sending Colin Meads from the field against Scotland in 1967, became a friend of the Meads family. He regularly sent the family Christmas cards years after the event. He even came to NZ for a surprise appearance at the 'This is Your Life' programme that honoured Colin Meads in 1988.
